Senior Support Ministry

Who are we? We support our senior adults through relationship building, visitation, attending to basic needs and carefully facilitate care.

What do we do? A group of senior adults meets each week, for prayer, study, sharing, and mutual support. And while the church has been made available for meetings, the goal of reaching our homebound seniors is oftentimes met by arranging a meeting at the home of some of our members. The seniors occasionally organize church-wide outings and hope to continue planning these fun events on a quarterly basis.

Why is it significant? It continues to be a primary goal of this ministry to incorporate more volunteers and elicit the support of the church membership in support of our seniors (e.g., periodic visits to an elderly church member).

How often do we meet? Weekly meetings take place on Thursdays at 11 AM. Visitations and relationships can be arranged at your convenience.

How much of a time commitment? We would love to have you join us and participate in supporting our seniors, whether you choose to join us in our weekly meetings on Thursday mornings at 11:00, or to call on a homebound senior.
