Our group gathered early in the morning to begin our journey. We loaded the bus, and Gordon did a wonderful job of driving, in spite of the curvy mountain roads we encountered in the afternoon. By early evening, we had arrived in the mountains and caught a beautiful sunset over the hills. It was a reminder of the beauty of creation and of God’s presence with us. What a great start to our week!
