Our Approach
We believe that Sunday morning worship is an open and welcoming space where every person can encounter God’s love, ask honest questions, explore their faith, and participate fully in the life of the church. At Chilson Hills Church, we strive to be a safe and affirming community where all people are free to come as they are, be fully who they are, and engage in authentic fellowship and worship.
Worship is a sacred celebration in which traditions, rituals, and shared practices connect us to our faith. It invites creative and honest expressions of our souls to God. It is also an environment for growth, where we learn, discover opportunities for service, and become aware of the needs around us. Through worship, our hearts and minds are opened to spiritual transformation, allowing God to shape us with deeper wisdom and a richer perspective.

We believe in following the teachings of Jesus and growing as faithful disciples through worship, study, and service. Sunday morning sermons are firmly grounded in Scripture, enriched by historical and cultural context, and connected to real-life experiences. We strive to make God’s Word both accessible and relevant, encouraging each person to deepen their faith and live out Christ’s love in their daily lives.

At Chilson Hills Church we are proud not only to have a woman pastor, but also to be led by many gifted women serving in leadership roles throughout the congregation. Women serve on the Executive Ministry Team, Worship Design Team, Diaconate, and numerous ministry teams. We are deeply grateful for their guidance, wisdom, discernment and faithful leadership as they help shepherd our church and lead us in following the path God has illuminated before us.
