Angela Miller
Pastor
Angela has been a member of Chilson Hills since 2003. She has served in many different ministries throughout the years, including Worship design, Music, Children’s Ministry and as a Deacon. Previously, she has served as our Director of Worship and Music and has used her creative gifts to lead worship, as well as ministry teams such as, Chilson Hills Agape Theatre (C.H.A.T.), multiple different choirs, and has made regular comedic appearances in our Vacation Bible School. As a young adult, Angela gained immeasurable life experience studying abroad and traveled the world. This sparked her compassion for the human condition through humanitarian efforts and launched her into a life of service, activism and advocacy. She is a proud Alumna of the International Multicultural organization of Up With People. Angela has held a successful career in professional theatre and remains a resident artist at Purple Rose Theatre Company. She is also a member of the Actors Equity Association. Angela is a graduate of the Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit and is currently seeking a Masters of the Arts in Theological Studies. She also serves on the State of Michigan Board of Marriage and Family Therapy. Her husband Nick is a retired Fire Chief, Fire Instructor, EMS Operational Director, and an active member who serves many different roles at Chilson including Sunday mornings with the Tech Crew. She and Nick have been blessed with two beautiful children (who are young adults now and also first responders), Lily and Vinny, whom you may occasionally see at Chilson Hills on Sunday mornings.

Dawn Purcell
Director of Music and Resident Worship Leader
Dawn Purcell is a local musician and teacher in Livingston County. A graduate of PHS with a BA from Siena Heights University, Dawn has been a singer ever since she was a toddler. It was her 2nd grade music teacher that told her father she would have a future in music, especially singing. That initial nudge from Mrs. Morrow kept Dawn focused on a musical path her whole life. With a background in musical theatre, orchestra, and choir, Dawn has been immersed in many facets of performance since middle school, and she is overly grateful to God for bringing her to Chilson Hills Church as the Worship Leader and Music Director. Her wish is for you to feel safe and free to share your voice with the congregation every Sunday morning and worship the Lord together!
