Christmas Eve Services at Chilson Hills Church

Our church will not be holding in-person gatherings until further notice.  While we are sad that we can’t offer our traditional Christmas Eve service, we will be offering two worship experiences for you and your family.

4:00 PM – Family Christmas Eve Experience on Zoom – Pick up Christmas Eve “create-your-own-advent-candle” craft kits at the church beginning Friday, December 18 (1:00-2:30 PM) and then have them ready for a Christmas Eve Zoom experience.  The gathering will end with a candle “lighting.”  Program length: 30 minutes.  Here’s how you can participate in this Zoom gathering.

1. Register for the the event (see the button below)
2. Bring your candle kit to the Zoom gathering
3. Sign in to the Zoom meeting on Thursday, December 24 at 4:00 PM.  The link for the meeting will be included in a confirmation email.

6:00 PM – Christmas Eve Worship Video premieres on YouTube – A worship service filled with the sounds of bells, strings, drums, piano chords and voices will share the story of Christmas through Scripture and song.  Watch it on YouTube.

7:00 PM – Christmas Eve Communion and Candle Lighting – Bring candles, cups of juice, wine, and pieces of bread to a special Zoom communion service and then finish with a candle lighting in your own home.  Please register for this event.  When you register for the event, you will receive a Zoom link to the gathering.  Download the recipe to Susan Pittman’s traditional communion loaf that we use every Christmas Eve during our worship service here!
