Zoom Discussion Group on The Apostles’ Creed

Apostles’ Creed Discussion Group- Thursday, April 16 – Noon
Discover the roots of Christian beliefs and theology in a 4-week Zoom discussion group led by Jennifer Coates as she guides you through The Apostles’ Creed.  First appearing in 390 AD, the words of this statement provide the structure and foundation for the Christian faith.  You will discuss terms like “believe,” “power,” “suffer” and “forgiveness.”  You will learn how the words of this creed applied Jesus and how we apply them to our everyday lives today.  Each session will last about an hour.  The central text we’ll be using for this group is The Apostles’ Creed: A Guide to The Ancient Catechism by Ben Myer.  You can order or download this book here.  You must register to be a part of this class.
