Join us for a transformative 11 weeks of learning,
discussing, and healing.

SACRED GROUND is a dialogue series focused on the challenges that swirl around issues of race and racism, as well as the difficult but respectful and transformative conversations we need to have with each other about them.

The series is part of the Becoming Beloved Community initiative of The Episcopal Church, a long-term commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society.

Core books: Waking up White by Debbie Irving and Jesus and the Disinherited by Dr. Howard Thurman 

WHEN: Kickoff meeting Sunday, September 8, from 4:00pm -8:00pm.  Simple meal included.
All other meetings will be on Wednesday evenings, 7:00pm – 9:00pm beginning September 18, 2024

WHERE: Chilson Hills Church

COST: Small cost of $20.00 for printed materials only, No cost for the course – books to be purchased by participants.
