Amber Wist

Director of Worship

Amber started attending Chilson Hills with her family when she was 3 years old. Growing up here Amber cherished the many opportunities she was given to serve God. From ushering with her dad and brother, to playing in the bell choir with her mom, VBS, serving food to the unhoused, mission trips, canoe trips, camping, singing with the choir, playing in the praise band, so many years of precious memories. Amber has a Bachelors of Arts degree from Concordia University, Ann Arbor, with a major in music and a minor in communications.
Currently, Amber serves as a Deacon, manages the Chilson Newsletters and website, leads the Handbell choir and music at Chilson, and directs the planning and culmination of worship services. Amber and her husband Craig have 2 beautiful daughters, Rebecca & Annabelle, who have also been serving at Chilson Hills.

Caitlin Cavannaugh

Worship Leader

Having deeply enjoyed being a cantor at Chilson Hills since 2021, Caitlin is so excited to have the opportunity to sing here more often! Caitlin is a professional singer and actor who found her love of singing in church choir as a child. Throughout her life, she has found her deepest connection to God through song and is honored to be able to share that with the congregation at Chilson. She is also overjoyed to serve the Chilson Hills community as a youth service events coordinator. While in college, she coordinated a youth concert series at her home church in Illinois, which raised substantial funds for charity. Finally, she’s excited to “market for God,” as her mother says, as Chilson’s social media consultant. Be sure to follow along at @chilsonhillschurch on Instagram and Facebook!
